Delivery & returns


All prices are exclusive of shipping fees. Shipping charges are added to the order and are paid by the customer. These charges are calculated by weight and/or dimensions of the parcel.

Currently, we only ship within Belgium. However, customers outside of Belgium can contact us via so we can make a tailor made quote for the order, including shipping. 

We work hard to process your order as quickly and carefully as possible (in principle within 48 hours). Once we have shipped the order you will receive an email confirmation. 

Some of our products are custom made from scratch once an order is placed. Hence, these products cannot be shipped immediately. For this reason, once the payment is received, it can take up to 8-12 weeks for us to ship the order (expected delivery will be communicated to you and this can deviate from the aforementioned 8-12 weeks). 

We are unable to change a delivery address once the order has been dispatched. If the courier has not been able to deliver your parcel for whatever reason, new attempts will always be at your own expense.  

We are not responsible for any duties, taxes or brokerage charges in any form that may be incurred when the package is imported into your country. Any additional shipping costs, customs fees and taxes incurred for rejected or returned packages will be the responsibility of the customer.

Atelier M Living cannot be held responsible for parcels not received or collected. In case parcels are not collected, they will be sent back to us. We are not responsible in any way for items shipped back to us. We will charge the customer again for sending the package a second time if a parcel has not been received or collected on the first shipping. 


Atelier M Living strives for 100% satisfaction of its customers. If one or more articles are not to your satisfaction after receiving them, you hold the right to notify us within 14 days and send them back to us. If you do not notify us within the aforementioned time frame, the items are considered sold. To be eligible for a return, your items must be unused and in the same condition that you received them. They must also be in the original packaging. Expenses incurred for sending the articles back to us and custody is at your own expense. Please ensure the articles you return are handled with due care. We are not responsible for any damages that happen during the return shipment or for the loss of your item during shipment. Damaged items will not be accepted. Once we receive your return, all goods will be inspected. Once the item has been accepted, the purchase price of the item will be refunded within 10 working days. Purchase price means the purchase amount of the item minus the original shipping charges. If you purchased something and the price drops after the purchase, we are not able to offer a refund on the difference.

Items that were purchased on sale or during any of our shopping events are not refundable. Gift cards are also not refundable. Due to the hand-made and made to order nature of our tables, we are also not able to accept exchanges or returns on these products. 

Despite that we work hard to process your order as carefully as possible, an article can somehow get damaged. If the outside of the packaging appears to be damaged due to transportation, it is very important to notify the delivery company when you receive the parcel, or to refuse accepting the parcel. If you notify us within 14 days of receiving your parcel, we will replace the damaged or defect items at no extra charge.

Certain items we sell are fully made by hand. Consequently, size and color variations may occur. In addition, due to the used materials, the appearance of certain products may have certain imperfections (as listed on the Site as well). These imperfections are not considered as damages which are refundable as we are of the opinion that our customers should appreciate the beauty of hand made products by local artisans, which are by their nature imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete.
